Snorkelers will find it particularly fascinating to explore the seabed under the old quarry, where boulders and meadows of posidonia are home to a variety of fish, octopuses and starfish.

However, given the small size of the free beach, it is advisable to arrive early to secure a spot.
How to reach the Arenella beach
The Arenella beach is easily reachable from Giglio Porto, only 3.5 km away. Visitors can travel along a paved road by car or taxi. However, during the high season, parking near the beach can be limited, so it may be necessary to park a little further away and walk to the beach. For those who prefer walking, it is possible to reach the beach in about 40 minutes from Giglio Porto, crossing a panoramic path that offers breathtaking views of the sea and the Mediterranean scrub.
