Patron of Giglio Porto, is celebrated on the 10th of August with religious functions and with the traditional “Palio Marinaro” (Mariner Trophy), where the 3 districts (Chiesa, Moletto, Saraceno) compete with especially constructed boats with 4 rowers and 1 coxswain each.

Celebrations last for several days with entertainments, musicals events, fireworks, the parade of the 3 districts, the procession on the sea in honor of the Madonna Stella Maris. Bars and restaurants remain open until late at night.
